Arkansas Christmas

We went to visit my family in Arkansas the weekend before Christmas. We had a very busy weekend with my grandparent's Christmas party on Saturday. Santa made a visit and brought a large bag full of gifts. The kids loved visiting with him, except for Tate! Later that night we celebrated my nephew's 10th birthday party at a pizza restuarant in Cabot then off to the bowling alley where we all enjoyed bowling. Even Tate rolled a ball or 2 down the lane. On Sunday, we had my parent's Christmas party with my brother and his family and my sister and her family. We had a great time with boxes and paper flying all over the room. On Monday, Brent and I went to nice restaurant in North Little Rock to eat dinner with my brother James and his wife Shannon and my sister Mindy and her husband Jeremy for our Christmas. We got up nice and early and made our way back to Tuscaloosa on Saturday. I am still exhausted from that trip.

Christmas at the Capstone

Saturday we visited Brent's grandparents at the Capstone. While we were there, Santa popped in. The girls enjoyed seeing and talking with him. Tate, not so much!

Thanksgiving pictures

Just a few pictures from Thanksgiving this year. These pictures are from Brent's side of the family. I would have some from mine, but my camera battery went dead and all of the pictures are on Brent's camera. I have been too lazy to walk in his office and get it to download on my computer. A New picture of Tate and mommy

As most of you know, Tate had a stroke about 2 months ago. Since the stroke, he has regained almost all use of the right side of his body and is now walking. He is improving everyday with picking up small objects on his right hand and is using his right foot better. He is, however prone to having more seizures (partial complex) which I am still learning about. Thank you to everyone who had been and is still praying for him. He is such a joy!
