First Day of School

Well it has been 3 months since I have blogged mainly for the fact that I didn't have time with the kids. We have been very busy. Here are some pictures of the kids 1st day of school. Mayce is 8 and in 2nd grade and McKay is 5 and in Kindergarten. They attend school at Northport Elementary School in Northport, AL.

Happy Birthday Cole and Jonesboro Trip

Mayce, McKay and I went to Jonesboro this past weekend to visit my good friends Heath, Jennifer, and their son Cole. He had his 3rd birthday and boy it was a big one with no corners left. The party was originally going to be at the ASU football stadium but had to be moved to a church gymnasium due to HEAVY rain. It was tons of fun with great food that the guys grilled for us, as well as tropical snow, several inflatables (3), a cool birthday cake, TONS of gifts, and the cheerleaders and the ASU mascot, Howl. Don't know how they will top this one next year! Mayce and McKay had a great time and we had a good time spending the night with them for 2 nights. By the was, Heath is a graphic designer for ASU so EVERYTHING paper was created and made by Heath including the cool invitations.

Happy 8th Birthday Mayce Pettus

Happy Birthday, Mayce! This year for Mayce's 8th birthday we had a soccer party for her. She invited a lot of her friends to the park and they played soccer all afternoon. She had a great time. Also, instead of gifts, the kids brought new or gently used books to donate to the school library. We donated around 50 books! She did get a few gifts from us! Lots of thing for her American Girl Dolls (wardrobe, horse, and bed), nintendo DS game, a book, ring, and several other things. Overall we had a lot of fun.
